Wireless soundsystem was formed in 2001 from a background of pirate radio,music production djs and party people and following the demise of underground clubs in the midlands.

original founders john driver,steve bain and carl kaotic threw the first party near elvaston castle in derby although this was heavily"pigged" before the rig was fired up,prompting them to do more,with success.From there they went on to do free parties across the midlands most weekends at various locations be that woods,barns,warehouses,quarries etc

As the power of the rig grew so did the members, Scottish john,paulie and nico who themselves were involved with other soundsystems joined wireless and created some of there best parties so far such as the legendary arches parties.

little jez ,dave weatherall and andy dilks became part of the w.s.s crew with local club nights being a regular occurance and much more free parties being held,often with the permission of land owners.

Nottingham veteran djs jim and judd were enlisted as key members and with wireless soundsystem entering its 8th birthday this year we hope you join us in plenty more free underground party action
